By now you guys must know about my love affair with Leo print, so it’s only natural that I gravitated towards a mixed animal print ensemble, to fire up my mood and combat the gloom!

Although fashion is fickle, there are a few trends that have stood the test of time and animal print is one of those trends. These prints are like neutrals, if you ask me, after all, they’re made up of brown, beige, black and white and can be paired with pretty much anything!

I remember I was out thrift shopping with my girl some years back and I picked out this zebra print sweater from the bottom of the pile. The look on her face was priceless! Lol! See, it’s one of those shapeless sweaters, whose personality may take a little while to grow on you, but honestly, my life would be a little less fashionable without it 😀 With the here-then-there type of weather we’ve been experiencing in Nairobi lately, I’m slowly mastering the art of being a layer slayer and for as long as we’re talking layers, slaying and bipolar weather, it only makes parisian-chic-sense to top my outfit with a mysterious jacket draped over my shoulders for easy on-and-off. No?

How are you guys enjoying layering your favourites this season? Drop me a line in the comment section below and let me know! 🙂

PS: It started drizzling while Gabriel and I were shooting, so don’t be alarmed if you see tiny water droplets on the coat 🙂 On the bright side, we managed to shoot this outfit in about five minutes! 😀
