Happy Saturday everyone! 🙂

I’ve been a little caught up this week, hence the brief hiatus, but surely, I wasn’t going to let a whole week go by without checking in! 😛

Some work weeks get so draining that we find ourselves longing (and probably living for) the weekend- those two extra hours of sleep, a decent home-cooked breakfast, dressing down and catching up with friends, and any other clichés that these two days intended for leisure permit.

Which brings me to today’s bloom situation…

What better time than the weekend, to bring out those floral-print gems?! While I’m not crazy about red roses, there’s something about this sweater-dress that stood out from everything else on the rack, and I immediately knew she was going to be a whole lot of fun!

When it comes to feminine pieces such as Blossom over here, I can’t help but want to create a little contrast by pairing them with masculine details, like a black topper and thigh-high boots. Something about this contrast always hits a sweet spot for me. I also used a slim, white belt to define my waistline without adding too much drama to the outfit and wore a nude lip for a natural glow 🙂
