Hey guys! Hope your week’s been grand!

Looks like July is back to behaving like it should, ey? No complaints here though! I’m a lover of the cold weather and was actually beginning to feel cheated this last couple of days. Anyway T.G.I.F!! I honestly live for the weekend and the cliche of movie nights, catch-up dates with my girls, Sunday lunches with the fam and other randomness that the two days intended for leisure permits, but most of all,  my snooze button could honestly use a break!

Back to the here and now though, HOLY DENIM! Yes, that timeless basic we just can’t do without! Seriously, don’t we just love the ease that comes with a simple pair of jeans? It was a love story when I tried on this particular pair. The fit was just undeniably perfect, almost as if they were tailor-made just for me. The fact that they had a tiny hole on the knee wasn’t about to come between us so I used a pair of scissors and a pumice stone to give it a distressed look. I thought about doing the same with the other knee, but then again the one-knee distress looks effortlessly cool! I paired the jeans with a simple white vest, a detailed jacket to elevate the basics, and to cement the look, I donned multi-coloured heels which I’m a little too obsessed with! What better way to combat the gloom than to go the colourful route, right?
