Today I’m bringing together four of my favourite elements in one ensemble: Colour | Print | Texture | Shine. The result?

Whenever I’m looking to instantly snatch my waist, enhance my curves, appear slimmer, all while looking chic, I turn to my tried and true pencil skirts. This textured gold-mine is the newest member of my growing collection, and with such flattering elements working in its favour, it’s no wonder this trend has withstood the test of time.

I always find colour-blocking not just mood enhancing, but also a super fun way to express myself with pencil skirts, so it’s no surprise that I gravitated to this pink crop top when it came down to pairing. Although the skirt did the most in the Shine Department, jewelry is always my first thought when I want to add a little sparkle to an outfit. That being said, I carried on the thought with probably the most gorgeous, chunky neck piece I’ve laid my eyes on, yet! To cap the look, I covered my face with one of my favourite sunglasses and to add a few inches to my frame, my trusty leo-print heels tagged along for the ride.
