What better way to start the new blog week than with my Sunday brunch experience at Mövenpick Hotel? 😛
If you follow me on Instagram, (which, by the way, you should 😛 ) then you know all about The White Cap Big Brunch which happened on 24th and 25th of November. This event was right on cue, because I’d just recently shared with you guys tips on how to look Instagram-worthy at brunch! Just call me psychic 😛 I was pretty excited to try out Baluba restaurant at Mövenpick hotel, so off my girl and I went in search for a tasty Sunday treat!
Unlike most places, Baluba Sunday brunch starts at 12.30 p.m, so shock on us when we got there at 11.30 a.m, hungry and ready to take our palates to paradise! Lol! We had plenty of time to take in the calming pool-side scenery before brunch/lunch and it was a perfect opportunity for my g.f and I to really catch up and take some OOTD pics 😀
Before we get into the food story, I absolutely loved the ambience at Baluba! So sophisticated and the pops of colour combined with African accents are an absolute win.
The Baluba Sunday brunch is served buffet style and even though I’m not a sweet tooth, I was completely blown away by their dessert variety! So much to choose from and everything I tried was just bursting with yummy flavours. The main course felt more lunchy than brunchy but that expectation aside, we enjoyed the overall food experience. The cost is usually Kshs. 4,200 per person, which is inclusive of the all you can eat buffet and bottomless Sangria. They have a live band too and a cute kiddie corner for the little ones.
Did you participate in The White Cap Big Brunch? What was your experience like? Drop me a comment and let me know.
Thank you all for stopping by!
