From chasing the light on a cold, gloomy Sunday, to seeking shelter from the rain, shooting this outfit was one hell of a dance! Lol! Much of fashion blogging may look like we’re not doing any work at all, but the reality, however, is quite the opposite. A story for a different day. Today, we play dress up 😉
Growing up, I always loved to play dress up. I loved to mix and match what was in mine and my sisters’ closets to create fun outfits for church, Christmas parties, etc, and then have my audience (consisting of my siblings) rate them! Talk about entertainment! Well, I can’t speak for my siblings but it was sure as hell entertaining for me 😀
Anyway, fast forward to the here and now. If you’ve ever wanted a stunning dress that stands out from all the rest, then this pink number is definitely your answer. Granted, it’s a far cry from everyday-wear, but your entrance wearing this gown will never go unnoticed. It has such a sweet aura, with its whimsical shade of pink and dainty lace, and the jeweled neck-line makes it feel more like wearable art and less like a piece of clothing merely taking up real estate in my closet. Because I wanted a clean and simple colour palette, I danced around gold accents for my accessories, with my hair swept up to reveal chandelier earrings, a hard box clutch to give the look a little edge, and for a little attitude- I capped the look with a bold lip.
Thank you all so much for stopping by!
