SAILOR SHIRT x TEXTURED PENCIL SKIRT

Yes, yes. I know. I’ve been way too quiet! It’s been such a hectic couple of days, I don’t even know! That long weekend was really what the doctor ordered 🙂 Hope you’ve all been keeping well though?

Thought I’d share with you some oldie pics of an outfit I wore not too long ago, when the weather was allowing 🙂 IMG_0113 copy As much as I fancy participating in trends, it’s always comforting to know that some pieces have no expiration date. The pencil skirt is right at home in that category and is probably one of the most versatile trends, but hey, that’s nothing you don’t already know, right? 🙂 In fact, I feel like a well fitted one, in black, is a must have so ladies, if you don’t have one of those hanging in your closet, please take a moment to re-evaluate your life! Lol! No, seriously.

Now that I think about it, all my black pencil skirts (Lol! They’re just two!) have some pattern and texture detail going on, which is just perfect to draw away attention from any folds or lines which may come about from tucking in bulky tops, like this sailor shirt. That’s a tip right there 😉

I don’t usually lean towards suede heels or shoes in general, but I found the cut on this particular pair quite irresistible. IMG_0139v copy IMG_0151 copy IMG_0169copy IMG_0158 copy

I love the shirt. I recently became a fan of pencil skirts. I love their versatility.
