Hey everyone! Hope your day’s going better than mine is. I overslept today and as a result I just feel like my day is so jumbled up! Aaaargh! It’s just so disorganizing and I’m not sure the cold is helping this situation. Talk about the blues! Lol!

Anyways, completely shifting gears and moving on to the outfit..

It’s no doubt that pencil skirts are those wardrobe staples that are pretty much perfect for every style, every season of year and every occasion, but even better when they come in (faux) leather 🙂 I wanted to create a ladylike ensemble that would fabulously take me through a couple of meetings, so I accompanied the skirt with a black crop top- creating the impression of a one-piece and to boss things up a little bit, I threw on a slightly oversized coat which I cinched at the waist for a little structure. The coat not only did wonders in keeping me warm, but dealt the outfit a serious dose of chic with that rich cobalt blue hue 🙂
